looped lark

This small series is now complete and I will ship three birds to Blue Bottle Art Gallery and Boutique early next week.  The final one is this looped lark.

Here she is from another angle so that you can see her open beak.

And a detail of the loops and stitching on the wings.

I'm satisfied that these three bird - the owl, rooster and lark - have a unified look, but distinct personalities.  If you live in Seattle I hope you will check them out in person, in the boutique, in a few weeks.

I love that black stitching. And the ruffling works beautifully. This last trio of birds is fantastic. It's so wonderful to see how you are growing and further developing your style.
