humpty dumpty
This is what I've been busy with
and here is the egg head without his jaunty cap
This doll quickly became one of the more complex dolls I've made. I wanted him to have bloomers and to be able to sit with his legs bent. Gusseted button jointa seemed to be the best solution. Once his legs were done this way I needed to make arms with the same jointing system to match. He is quite prim and proper with his stand-up collar and bow tie.

What a distinuished looking egg. It cracks me up!

Your work is amazing. I love his outfit and the shaping of the egg is perfect. Can't wait to see what storybook character you'll make next.

What an adorable Humpty Dumpty. I think maybe you need to open up a toy store of handmade toys, you would be brilliant at it. He is just so great. I wish your family a Happy New Year too.
