Owlet
This little patchwork bag
contains a special little friend
and is being mailed out today as a little thank you to moki for the awesome wool roving.
Tonight friends of ours are in town. Charlie's best friend from college, Adam, who was the best man in our wedding, is coming to Boston with his wife, the author Jennifer Weiner. Jen is doing a reading at the Wellesley Public Library from her new book, Little Earthquakes, and then they are coming over for dinner. I'm making homemade pizzas - one with fresh pesto and the other with sundried tomatoes and goat cheese. Yum! And, in a few weeks, we are going to visit their new house on the Cape for the weekend. I can't wait!
We are going down to New London tomorrow for a long weekend with Roxy's Grandpa and Grammy J so no posts until Monday. Have a good weekend!
That bag is beautiful, and the little owl surprise is just too cute! Fantastic work!
